LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of this generation and in year 17, he might just be having his most impressive year ever with the Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James has done a lot of impressive things throughout his 17-year NBA career. He has won four Most Valuable Player awards, led the Cleveland Cavaliers to defeat the greatest regular-season team of all-time after being down 3-1 series and has dragged multiple teams to the NBA Finals that had no business being there.

LeBron has his naysayers, as does any polarizing athlete in any sport, but what he has done on the basketball court is nothing short of impressive. He is the face of basketball for a reason, should still get the honor of being the best basketball player in the world and has been so great that we have simply become numb to it.

Nobody thought that LeBron James could one-up himself this late in his career and instead of regressing he has done just that. With all things considered, this might just be the most impressive, not the best, season of LeBron James’ career thus far.

And no, we are not going to make the age factor one of the primary talking points, although it is worth mentioning. LeBron is doing things that very few athletes will ever do at age 35, especially with the mileage on his legs.

We also are not talking about the outside factors, as this season has not only been a rough one off the court for the Los Angeles Lakers but the entire basketball community, sports world and the globe as a whole.

Instead, we found three compelling reasons why we think this is the most impressive season of LeBron James’ career.
