As we get closer to the 2020 NFL Draft, here are three reasons why the Los Angeles Rams should trade Brandin Cooks.

After reaching the Super Bowl in 2018, the Los Angeles Rams had a very disappointing 2019 season. Unless you are the New England Patriots, sustaining success in the NFL year after year is challenging.

The Rams found that out the hard way in 2019, as they missed the playoffs just one year removed from the Super Bowl. It became clear early on in the season that the Rams had become a flawed team.

Their defense wasn’t playing well and their once great offense looked lost. The Rams went all-in on trying to win a title in 2018 and 2019, but their quest to do so came up short. Now, the Rams have to look at the rest of their division and the NFC, which has become pretty strong.

The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers don’t look like they are going to be going away anytime soon. Also, the Arizona Cardinals might be on the right track with Kyler Murray and the newly acquired DeAndre Hopkins.

While the Rams can still be a playoff team next season, they do have to think about the big picture. One of the players who has been underachieving for them has been Brandin Cooks. Cooks is making a good amount of money, and the Rams would be likely alright without him.

With that being said, here are three reasons why the Rams should trade Cooks before the NFL Draft.
