– Jordan Love

One of the interesting prospects that the Chargers are interested in is Jordan Love from Utah State. For most of the draft process, the top three quarterbacks have been considered to be Burrow, Tua, and Herbert. However, Love has been rising in mock drafts and rankings for quarterbacks.

Love is an interesting prospect, as he had a really strong sophomore season. In his second year at Utah State, Love totaled 32 touchdown passes and six interceptions. Those numbers looked like Love was on the fast track to becoming one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. Unfortunately for Love, his junior season didn’t go as well.

Last season, Love regressed, as he totaled 20 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions. Hardly numbers worthy of being a top pick. It was certainly not a good season for Love, but he has seen his draft stock rise after his junior season. Despite not having a strong junior season, the Chargers are interested in Love it appears.

While the Chargers might like Love, the sixth pick shouldn’t be where they get him. If they do indeed believe Love is their guy, the Chargers should look to either move down from this spot, or jump back in to get him.
