Los Angeles Rams: 3 Needs to address in the 2020 NFL Draft
By Nick Ziegler
As the 2020 NFL Draft approaches, here are three needs for the Los Angeles Rams.
The Los Angeles Rams find themselves in a strange spot heading into the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2018, the Rams were the NFC Champions. However, a matchup against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots resulted in the Rams being handed a loss on the big stage.
In 2019, the Rams brought back pretty much the same main core of players. However, they got off to a slow start and were unable to recover. A desperation move during the season to trade for Jalen Ramsey didn’t work out, as the Rams missed the playoffs just one year removed from reaching the Super Bowl.
Now, the Rams are in a tricky spot. As of now, it is tough to say whether this is a title contender like in 2018, or a team on the outside looking in when the playoffs start like in 2019.
One of the most important things to sustain success in the NFL is to have a good draft. The Rams will be without their first-round pick this season because of the Ramsey trade, as they need to make sure they do a solid job in the middle rounds.
After a disappointing season, there are certainly some needs for the Rams heading into next season. With the team being somewhat limited in terms of their salary cap, the Rams need to get some things right in the draft.
As the draft approaches, here are three positions of need for the Rams heading into the NFL Draft.
