– Creates great Big 3

While Paul might not be the same player he was a few years ago, he was had a resurgence with the Oklahoma City Thunder. When Paul was traded by the Rockets to the Thunder, it looked like it was a move to simply get rid of an aging star.

However, Paul was able to have a great season so far for the Thunder, as they would be in the playoffs if they started today. The Thunder did a great job getting assets along with Paul, as his contract is pretty huge. However, he has been playing at an All-Star level once again, and any talks about him being bought out are a distant memory.

As an All-Star caliber player, Paul would be joining two MVP candidates in Los Angeles. Both Anthony Davis and LeBron James have played really well together, and Paul is the type of player that can play with anyone.

That potential trio would be the best in the NBA, as getting three All-Star caliber players is not an easy thing to accomplish. In addition to creating a Big 3, it would also give James another chance to play with one of his good friends. The last time James played with a close friend of his, he won a championship in Miami.
