Bleacher Report recently ranked all of the bullpens in baseball. For the Los Angeles Dodgers, they found themselves in the Top-10 of the rankings.

As we patiently wait for the start of the baseball season, Los Angeles Dodgers fans are hungry to see their team back on the field. With the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, we hope that we will get to see the Dodgers on the field soon.

The 2019 season was another disappointment for the Dodgers. Due to their success, the goal for the Dodgers every season is to win a championship. The Dodgers came up short of that goal last season, as they were eliminated by the Washington Nationals in the playoffs.

However, the Dodgers will be returning with a strong team once again this year. One of the reasons for the Dodgers’ success over the past few years has been their balance. Recently, Bleacher Report ranked all of the bullpens in baseball. For the Dodgers, they came in ranked 8th.

Seeing the Dodgers coming in 8th is certainly a good ranking for the franchise. In 2020, they will once again have Kenley Jansen as their closer. Over the past few years, Jensen logging a lot of innings might be starting to catch up with him, but he is still a good closer.

Jansen did see his ERA go up to 3.71 last season, but he locked down 33 saves for the team. After Jansen last season, Pedro Baez was one of their key contributors. Baez was able to total a 3.10 ERA in 71 appearances, as he had the trust of the coaching staff logging that many appearances.

The Dodgers will have a new face to potentially help their back-end of the bullpen, as they brought in Blake Treinen. It was very recently when Treinen was one of the best closers in the league. In 2018, Treinen had a ridiculous 0.78 ERA. However, he was never able to get it going in 2019 and had a 5.01 ERA.

If Treinen can find his form of 2018, or even remotely close to that, the Dodgers will have a huge addition to their bullpen. We will have to see what Treinen can do for the Dodgers, but if he is back to his form of 2018, the Dodgers could have a Top-5 bullpen in baseball.
