The Los Angeles Chargers have finished making their picks for the 2020 NFL Draft. Here are their grades for the players they selected.

After a disappointing season, the Los Angeles Chargers were hoping to start things over in the 2020 NFL Draft. This offseason, the Chargers saw players like Melvin Gordon and Philip Rivers both leave in free agency.

For the last few seasons, these players have been cornerstones for the franchise. However, the Chargers are going in a new direction now as they head into a new stadium.

Coming into the draft, their main priority was going to be to get a quarterback in the early rounds. Even though Rivers might be on the decline, he was still a franchise quarterback for the last decade.

That is not an easy thing to replace, and the Chargers had to know that Tyrod Taylor wasn’t going to be the answer long-term. The Chargers addressed this need quickly, but it might not have been the spot or the player to do so.

With the NFL Draft now in the books, here is a list of the players that the Chargers selected. The Chargers ended up making six picks, as they didn’t make a selection in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.

– Justin Herbert, QB, 6th overall

– Kenneth Murray, LB, 23rd overall

– Joshua Kelley, RB, 112th overall

– Joe Reed, WR, 151st overall

– Alohi Gilman, S, 186th overall

– K.J. Hill, WR, 220th overall

After adding some new faces to the franchise, here are grades for each player, as you an see if the Chargers did a good job overall in the draft, or if it was kind of hit or miss.
