With this coming offseason being filled with uncertainty for the Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA, here are three reasons why they should trade Kyle Kuzma.

As we patiently wait to see what happens with the NBA season for the Los Angeles Lakers, we do know that there will eventually be an offseason in the NBA. For the Lakers, they will have some big decisions to make.

The Lakers are hoping that the season will resume so they can try and win a championship. Before the suspension, the Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference and were looking like a championship-caliber team.

While the Lakers are a very good team, they aren’t perfect. One of the players that have had a disappointing season thus far is Kyle Kuzma. Coming into the season, expectations were high for Kuzma to be the third star for the Lakers.

Since Kuzma was the only remaining part of the young core that was loved in Los Angeles, people wanted to see him continue to grow. With a natural ability to score in multiple ways, Kuzma looked like he would be able to thrive with pretty much anyone.

However, after a strong first two seasons in the NBA, Kuzma hasn’t played well as the Lakers have begun to look like a winning team. For a young player, playing with MVP players can be a huge adjustment, but it should also help take the attention away from you on the court. Unfortunately, Kuzma has not been able to make the most of his first season with both LeBron and Davis as teammates.

There were plenty of rumors surrounding Kuzma at the trade deadline, and there will surely be more in the offseason. With that being said, here are three reasons why the Lakers should trade him this offseason.
