With the NFL Schedule being released, here are the three toughest games for the Los Angeles Chargers for the upcoming season.

Now that the NFL Draft has passed, the league calendar has turned to the NFL Schedule release. While we do know the opponents of the Los Angeles Chargers from a few months prior, teams can change a lot in the draft and free agency.

For the Chargers, they were one of the teams that have changed a lot throughout the past few months. First off, Philip Rivers will not be the starting quarterback for the team for the first time in a long time.

Instead, the Chargers will likely be starting the season with Tyrod Taylor as the starting quarterback. Taylor was the backup to Rivers last season and has a year in the system. However, the Chargers did select Justin Herbert with the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Chargers are heavily invested in Herbert, as while Taylor might be the starter to begin the season, his days under center could be numbered if he or the team struggles.

In addition to the Chargers having a change at the quarterback position, they will also be without Melvin Gordon this season, as he signed with the Denver Broncos. The Chargers will look like a different team on the offensive side of the ball, but they could have one of the best defenses in the league next season.

If the Chargers are able to find some success on offense and not turn the ball over a ton, they could be a surprise team with how good their defense could be. However, the Chargers do have some very challenging games this season, as their division is tough, and they will be playing the NFC South. With that being said, here are the three toughest games on the schedule for the Chargers.
