– Didn’t get hurt

The first reason why James has had a better season is the most obvious one. On Christmas Day last season, the Lakers were able to make a statement. In a huge game against the Golden State Warriors, the Lakers were able to beat the defending champs.

Unfortunately, that game came at a huge price for the Lakers. In the win, the Lakers saw both LeBron James and Rajon Rondo get hurt. Since the Lakers were such a young team in the Western Conference, losing these two veterans hurt them.

As we have seen all of the time in the NBA, having a star player is very important for success. James is without a doubt one of the best players in the league, and if you take him off the court, the team simply won’t be as good.

James has been known for being one of the most durable players in any sport. However, on Christmas, he suffered a bad groin injury and was never the same for the rest of the season. It was the first major injury in James’ career, and everyone began to think that he was human too and father time was coming.

Well, James has been healthy throughout his second season in Los Angeles, and the results have followed. While father time might come for James eventually, he has been able to avoid any major injury so far this season.
