Recent Lakers rumors are that LeBron James and other stars in the league are in support of the season resuming.

With the coronavirus being the biggest news story in the world, recent Lakers rumors have been about when we might see them on the court again.

As things start to reopen in America, the hope is that we will have the return of the NBA season soon. Recently, the UFC was able to host an event without fans in Florida, and while one of their fighters did test positive before the event for the virus, it seemed to go rather safely and smoothly.

For the NBA, there is still a lot of unknown about when or if there will be a season this year. Recently, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that big stars of the league are unified in trying to get the season resumed.

"Toward the end of the call discussing the ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic, all parties were in agreement to take the court with proper safety measures once the league is given the green light to commence, sources said.Chris Paul, the president of the players association, arranged the call that included LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, and Russell Westbrook, sources said. The group’s decision is expected to hold significant weight in the decision-making process for the rest of the league’s players when it’s time to deliberate on whether to restart the season."

Seeing the stars of the league being unified for resuming the season is certainly good for basketball fans. Maybe more so than any other sport, the stars of the NBA can have a big say on how things will go.

If LeBron James is talking openly that he wants the season to be resumed, you know people are going to hear about it and back him. With the NBA unofficially polling players about their thoughts on how to handle the rest of the season, the league is looking at all options.

However, if the league can put up good safety protocols for players, coaches, and employees, then they should try to resume the season. Adam Silver has already said that he doesn’t have to decide on what to do until June, so there is still some time to gauge where everybody’s head is at.

As things get better in the country and states start to open up, it will be interesting to see what the next move for the NBA will be. Hopefully, it will be season resuming to some capacity.
