ESPN recently came out with its list of the Top-10 basketball players of all-time. For the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant shockingly came in ranked 9th. Here are three reasons why he is a Top-5 player of all-time.
ESPN recently released its Top-10 players of all-time in the NBA. To no surprise, the Los Angeles Lakers were well-represented. As one of the best franchises in the NBA, the Lakers ended up with six players who have played for their franchise on the list.
To the surprise of many, Kobe Bryant didn’t crack the Top-5 of the list, as he was ranked ninth. On ESPN’s list, they had Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, and Magic Johnson in the Top-5.

While it is very hard to compare eras in the NBA, Bryant won five championships after the Jordan era came to an end.
One can debate about who the greatest of all-time is forever, but here are three reasons why Kobe is a Top-5 player of all-time.
