Lakers Rumors: NBA hopes to resume in July at Disney World

Recent Lakers rumors are that the NBA is leaning toward resuming the season in Orlando, Florida fairly soon.

As we wait for the NBA season to resume, recent Lakers rumors have been about when we will see the team back on the court.

Unfortunately, it has been months since we last saw the Lakers on the court. Before the season was suspended, the Lakers were one of the best teams in the league.

Now, the Lakers along with the rest of the NBA have been away from each other waiting for the season to resume. Even though the coronavirus has had a huge impact on the world, things are starting to get better in the United States.

With states being to open up, sports league are planning their returns as well. Recently, it was reported that the NBA is favoring playing games in Orlando, Florida to conclude the season.

With no fans to be in attendance more than likely for a while, playing all the games in a singular location seemed like the best idea for the NBA. As we have seen during the summer in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, this can be a very effective thing for the NBA.

Keeping the players, coaches, and workers safe is the most important thing for the NBA when it resumes. Having everyone in one location helps limit travel, which should help limit exposure to people.

For the Lakers, they certainly want to finish out the season with how well they have performed this season. With the practice facility recently opening up and potential news about playing at Disney, the NBA is slowly getting its plan to resume in motion.

The NBA seems to want to get the players back and ready starting in mid-June with the league resuming in July. Even though it has been a long wait, it looks like the NBA is going to be resuming this summer barring any bad changes.
