Recent Lakers news is that Quinn Cook recently talked about LeBron James being ready to roll when the season resumes.
After months of waiting, we have finally got some good Lakers news of late. The NBA appears to have a plan in place to resume the season at the end of July, and while there aren’t official specifics, we are looking good for the season coming back.
Due to the lengthy layoff, it could be very interesting to see what teams will look like when the season resumes. By the time the season does resume, we will basically have had another offseason, but with strict limits on what players can do.
There could be a lot of players not in the best of shape when the season resumes, as working out or even playing basketball has been a huge challenge for the last few months. However, one player that will be on his LeBron James.
Recently, Quinn Cook spoke with The Ringer about James’ ability to stay prepared.
"“I know LeBron’s going to come back and not miss a beat. I know how hard he works. I know how disciplined he is. That’s just how he is as a worker. He has to lead by example, so I know he’s working smart, working hard over this break. I know he’s going to set the tone for us early when we all get back together."
While James is one of the best athletes we have ever seen, he also has one of the best work ethics. James invests a lot of time and money into his body so that he can perform at a high level. James’ ability to be prepared and healthy is one of the reasons why he is an MVP candidate this season.
For James, this season has been about proving the doubters from last year wrong. After missing the playoffs, a lot of people said that James was on the decline after he suffered his first major injury. However, James has been as a good as ever this season, which is remarkable for his age.
