With the NBA season set to resume at the end of July, recent Lakers rumors have been about the key dates for the league in the upcoming months.

Everyone is excited to see that the NBA will be resuming the season, as we all want to get sports back. For the Lakers, they will now have the chance to snap their playoff drought and also potentially get back to the NBA Finals.

With the best record in the Western Conference, the Lakers currently stand as the favorites to win it all. Barring an injury, the Lakers are in a great position to win it all this season, as LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been as good as advertised as a duo this season.

While the Lakers do have their eyes set on winning a championship when the season resumes, the franchise also has to look ahead to some key dates.

One of the big dates for the league will be on August 25th when the NBA Draft Lottery will be taking place. After the season, the league will then be holding the NBA Draft on October 15th, with free agency following on October 18th.

Also, as of now, the league is looking to start training camps in November and then get the next season started on December 1st. While that is the plan of now, that seems like something that might not be completely set in stone.

With the NBA coming up with a plan and approving it, we should be seeing teams heading to Florida in about of month to resume the season. For the Lakers, they can use the eight regular-season games to knock off the rust and prepare for a few potential first-round matchups.
