4. How set is the offensive line?

If you didn’t know, the Rams offensive line coach throughout the Sean McVay era has been Aaron Kromer, who’s also going to be the team’s run game coordinator beginning in 2020. For many, this isn’t a big change but it appears as if Kromer will have increased responsibility.

Kromer has done well during his time as offensive line coach with the Rams. In 2019, Jared Goff was sacked just 22 times. That’s a really solid stat for a team that many thought would need to re-invest in the trenches during the 2020 offseason.

The reality is that the Rams dealt with injuries on the offensive line in 2019, which forced many players to have to switch positions and make adjustments quickly. However, it wasn’t as if the offensive line was necessarily the weakest link on the offense.

The point here is that while many seemed to have panic over the state of the offensive line, the team has a plan going into 2020 that should allow for the rest of the offense to function and continue to be consistent.
