When the NBA season resumes, the Los Angeles Lakers will be facing the Los Angeles Clippers. However, this game will have little meaning.

The Los Angeles Lakers will now know who they will face when they will resume their season in Orlando.

As expected, the Lakers will be one of the most televised teams of any when the season resumes, as they have a legit chance to win the title. For the Lakers, they will be starting the season back up with a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Normally, this would have been a huge game for both teams. However, while it will be highly watched, this game will have little meaning for either team. Since it is the first game back, both teams will likely not be using their star players all that much, as both franchises should be thinking about using the remaining regular-season games to warm up for the playoffs.

Usually a game this late in the season would result in a chance to gain some serious momentum heading into the playoffs. However, due to this being the first game that the two teams will have played in months, neither side will completely be firing on all cylinders.

So far this season, the Clippers hold a 2-1 advantage over the Lakers. However, it was the Lakers who were able to get the most recent win against the Clippers. This helped them prove that they were a true contender this season.

While this game might bring in a lot of attention and be hyped up, it will likely have just a little bit more meaning than a preseason game for both teams. With some new faces on each squad, both teams will likely be working on some new rotations for when they eventually might meet in the playoffs.

No matter who wins or loses or by how much, don’t put much stock into this fourth matchup of the two teams from Los Angeles.
