One of the things that separate the Lakers from the rest of the league is the dynamic duo that they have in LeBron James and Anthony Davis. This past summer, the Lakers went all-in and made the move to pair James with another superstar.

The asking price for Davis was steep, but it has been a move that has worked out for the Lakers. Right from the start, it appeared like Davis and James would be able to work well together. However, it was hard to imagine just how quickly the two would gel.

While there are some other great duos in the NBA with Russell Westbrook and James Harden on the Houston Rockets. Also, the Los Angeles Clippers have a strong one in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, it has been the duo of the Lakers that has looked the best this season.

Since the Golden State Warriors no longer have their four All-Stars, it could very well be a great duo that brings home a title this season. For the Lakers, they have to like their chances to do so with an MVP candidate and a Defensive Player of the Year candidate on their team.

As long as James and Davis stay healthy, they will be in a great position to win.
