Quinn Cook

This offseason, one of the goals for the Lakers was to improve their 3-point shooting. Last season, the Lakers were one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league, and it was an area that needed to be improved.

So, one of the players that they went out and signed was Quinn Cook from the Golden State Warriors. Even though Cook hasn’t been in the league for a long time, he has already won a championship and been on a dynasty caliber team.

With the Lakers, it looked like Cook might get more of a chance to play. Being behind Stephen Curry will limit the minutes of a point guard. However, Cook has not played a ton for the Lakers and has had a small role for most of the season.

This season, Cook is averaging just over 10 minutes per game. Also, he has only played in 38 games for the Lakers this season with a lot of DNP coaches decision. However, with both Rondo and Bradley out, it could be Cook who sees a minutes boost off the bench.

Cook has also been a great 3-point shooter and has been in the playoffs before. With experience and the ability to shoot the ball well from deep, Cook could find himself getting more minutes.
