– AD’s lack of experience

This offseason, the Lakers were able to pull off a blockbuster trade to get themselves a second superstar to pair with LeBron James. Before being traded to the Lakers, Anthony Davis has been widely considered to be one of the best big men in the league.

Davis can have an impact on the game on both the offensive and defensive end of the court. This is pretty rare in the NBA, and one of the reasons why he is a true superstar in the game today.

While Davis has been great in his career, playoff success isn’t something that he has had just yet. Davis has made the playoffs just twice in his career so far, playing in 13 games, and getting out of the first round just once.

Even though Davis might not have seen the team success that he would have like in the playoffs yet, his stats have been really good. In the playoffs, Davis is averaging 30.5 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game.

The playoff sample size for Davis might be small, but he is capable of making an impact in big situations. Even though he doesn’t have the same experience as James, Davis will be able to learn on the fly and not have to rely on himself to get the team a win.
