Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger don’t combine for 40+ HR

Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger are two of the best players in the major leagues. Betts was the AL MVP in 2018 and Bellinger was the NL MVP last season. Betts hit 32 HR in his MVP campaign while Bellinger hit 47.

Betts is more known for is superb contact hitting abilities while Bellinger is known more for his power. Most bettors are pegging the over/under for the most home runs by a player at 20. While Bellinger will have a very good shot to surpass 20 home runs, Betts most likely won’t even come close hitting home runs in the 12-15 range.

While they should combine for around 35 homers, they both will easily surpass a batting average of .300 with high on-base and slugging percentages.
