Rotation combines for an ERA. under 3.00

The Dodgers have a very strong rotation that consists of longtime ace Clayton Kershaw, rising star Walker Buehler, Julio Urias, Alex Wood and most likely Ross Stripling to round things out.

Here are their career E.R.A.

Kershaw: 2.44

Buehler: 3.12

Urias: 3.18

Wood: 3.40

Stripling: 3.51

The fact that all Dodgers starting pitchers have career E.R.A. under 4.00 is spectacular. With a shortened season though, the Dodgers rotation will take it up a notch and combine for an ERA. below 3.00.

Kershaw hasn’t posted an E.R.A. above 4.00 since his rookie year and the highest ERA. he’s posted since was last year with a mark of 3.03. Meanwhile, Buehler is one of the best young pitchers in the game and many peg him as the NL Cy Young for this season.

Urias has had trouble staying healthy but assuming he does, he will show the league the potential he’s always had in him while Wood and Stripling are excellent backend rotation options who would be mid-rotation starters on a different team.

Stripling will also show the Dodgers how they made the right move in keeping him as he was reportedly heading to the other side of LA during the offseason.
