The NFL began releasing their list of the Top 100 players of 2020 on Sunday night, with two prominent Los Angeles pass-catchers receiving honors.

SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA isn’t the only entity the LA Rams and LA Chargers are sharing in 2020.

After the announcement of the first portion of the NFL’s annual Top 100 player rankings on Sunday night, the two LA football franchises can now both say they possess at least one top-100 wide receiver ahead of the 2020 season.

The list, devised entirely by player voting, is a reflection of player performance from the previous season, and has been an annual NFL tradition that coincides more or less with the start of training camp every summer.

As for the rankings themselves, Cooper Kupp of the Rams came in at No. 89, while  Keenan Allen of the Chargers was given No. 77.

For Kupp, his admission to the list marks a first for his career.

Making the list might as well be considered routine for Allen, whose inclusion on the 2020 edition represents his third consecutive appearance, having been ranked as high as No. 38 on the 2019 list and coming in at No. 41 in 2018.

Now that the players have ranked these two LA wide receivers in a league context, do they make sense based on each player’s 2019 performance? Let’s analyze.
