In the final season we will be covering, we will see what the Lakers do to rebuild their roster around Paul George and Anthony Davis. Along with this, it will be interesting to see with the millions and millions of dollars they have in cap space now.

The Portland Trail Blazers win the lottery and with the first pick in the 2024 draft they select Jevon London. The Lakers re-sign Josh Green and Nicolo Melli. They use the newly acquired cap space to sign Gordon Hayward, and Christian Wood.

The Lakers starting five for the final season is Nimari Burnett, Josh Green, Paul George, Anthony Davis, and Rudy Gobert. The four coming off of the bench are Christian Wood, David Nwaba, Gordon Hayward, and Daniel Theis.

This season, the Lakers went 49-33. They did not have a single player win a yearly award, make an All-NBA team, or make an All-defensive team. They finished as the fifth seed and disappointingly were eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs in a very tough fought seven-game series.
