Seeley had a breakout year with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL this past season, scoring three goals with 29 assists for 32 points. Last year, he tallied just one goal with eight assists in a 52-game sample size.
He’s not quite the offensive threat that Poirier is, but he’s much better defensively. He has a quick shot, good vision, and is an excellent skater. As denoted by his assist total, he’s great at distributing the puck with crisp passes, but he’s capable of quarterbacking the powerplay for his future NHL team.
