Here are three reasons why Los Angeles Lakers should be worried about the team going into the playoffs.
In the NBA bubble, the Los Angeles Lakers carried out the season and clinched the first seed in the Western Conference. This was quite the accomplishment as well as crushing the expectations that many had about the team going into the season.
However, the bubble also exposed some existing issues as well as highlighted some new concerns for the team that could cause fans to worry if the team is ready for the playoffs. Along with this, some teams came into the bubble even better than they were going into the suspended season as it seems that the Lakers have taken a step back from the dominance that they put on display just as the season was suspended.
Players are showing their concern as if the Lakers are ready to go into playoff play and hopefully have what it takes to push through a loaded Western Conference in hopes of bringing home an NBA title in what has been one of the most difficult seasons not just for the NBA as a whole but the Lakers specifically.
Being on the Lakers this season has made for one of the most difficult seasons a team has gone through off of the court with many of the players being deemed as the Lakers being their last chance of relevance in the league, the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant weighing on the franchise as a whole, and the momentum that the team had going into the league suspension being ground to a halt as it seemed that the team was just beginning to hit their stride.
