As we remember Kobe Bryant, here are the Top 5 moments that he had with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kobe Bryant is arguably the greatest Lakers of all time. He finished his 20-year career with the Lakers with averages of 25.0 points per game, 5.2 rebounds a game, 4.7 assists a game, and 1.7 steals a night.

At the time of his retirement, he was ranked third in all-time points with 33,643. He was the face of the league for almost as long as he was in it. Along with this, as his total points suggest he was arguably the best scorer of all time.

Bryant also had a notorious killer instinct which made him one of the most clutch players the game has ever seen. He has one of the most decorated careers in all of NBA history. Bryant was named an 18-time All-Star, a 12-time all-defensive player, a member of the All-NBA team 15 times, a four-time All-Star game MVP, a two-time scoring champ, an MVP in the 2007-2008 season, won five NBA champions, and was named Finals MVP twice.

He was also a first-ballot Hall of Famer. An event that he will sadly not be able to attend. As all of the Laker nation knows, he was in a tragic helicopter accident earlier in the year that took his life.

Bryant would go down as an amazing businessman, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, and a perfect father for his daughters. With August 23rd marking what should have been Kobe’s 42nd birthday along with 8/24 being deemed Mamba day coming the day after, it makes for the perfect time to look back on Kobe’s career and some of his best moments with the Lakers.
