Head-to-Head

0-0

Playoff History: 1-0 Los Angeles Dodgers (Last Series: 2018 NLCS)

Due to the abbreviated season, the Dodgers and Brewers did not face off this season because teams only face their own divisional opponents and their counterparts in the American League. The two teams will be facing each other cold, but they do have some playoff history.

In 2018 the Dodgers defeated the Brewers in seven games to advance to the World Series in a close seven game series. The Brewers will be looking to exact revenge and sink the Dodgers chances of ending their 32 year World Series drought.

There are plenty of storylines on both sides, Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw is still trying to end his October on top of the mountain, it’s a matchup of MVP’s with with Christian Yelich (2018 NL MVP) taking on Mookie Betts (2018 AL MVP) and Cody Bellinger (2019 NL MVP), and the unorthodox managing of Craig Counsell against the comical moves of Dave Roberts.

Even though it’s short the series could be very interesting.
