The LA Rams were able to get a big win against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football to improve their record to 5-2.

In Week 7, the LA Rams were able to get a big win against the Chicago Bears to keep pace in the NFC West. After a disappointing 2019 season, the Rams look like a much better team in 2020.

On both sides of the ball, the Rams are playing good football, as there is a nice balance on offense, and the defense is doing much better than last season. In the win over the Bears, it was a grind it out type of game like many expected.

Even though the Bears are known for their tough defense, the Rams were able to punch them in the mouth with some hard runs throughout the game, which set up Jared Goff in the play-action quite nicely.

Goff and the passing offense of the Rams didn’t light it up by any means, as Goff threw for 219 yards and totaled two touchdowns. However, it was a very efficient game for Goff, and he did enough to get the win.

On the ground, the Rams were able to run the ball better than expected against the tough Bears defense. Los Angeles totaled 161 rushing yards as a team, as the combination of Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson was great.

Henderson led the team in rushing yards with 64, but Brown was solid as well with 57 yards on the ground. Cam Akers did get a couple plays in the game, but he seems to be third on the depth chart now.

Overall, it was a pretty complete game for the Rams on both sides of the ball. The play calling might have been a tad too conservative in the fourth quarter, but the Bears offense really didn’t show a lot for most of the night.

Next up for the Rams will be a showdown against the Miami Dolphins. With Tua under center for the Dolphins next week, it will be interesting to see what he can do against the Rams.
