5 Rams Leaving Los Angeles in the New Year

The organization has difficult decisions to make in the offseason and that likely means letting go of these players.

2. Demarcus Robinson - WR

The veteran receiver has become a reliable weapon for the Rams during his two seasons with the team, but the writing is on the wall moving forward. Not only does the coaching staff seem to prefer guys like Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell, and Tyler Johnson, but Robinson's legal troubles make him an easy scapegoat in the offseason.

He doesn't have a catch over the last four games, earning just five targets in the process. The nine-year veteran has 28 catches for 433 yards and seven TDs on the season, though he's fallen off the radar over the second half of the campaign.

Despite being phased out of the offense, Robinson still has a career-high in TDs. He's a Super Bowl winner with plenty of experience to offer other NFL teams, making him a logical target for organizations hoping to bolster their receiving groups.

Robinson has the rare distinction of having made the playoffs in all nine of his NFL seasons. Some players go their entire careers without making it to the postseason, so Robinson is clearly a winning receiver with plenty of offer.

At 30 years old though, he's likely not going to maximize his potential value with the Rams. He probably only has one or two more contracts left in the league depending on the years, making it wise to see what franchises would be willing to overpay for his services.

It'd hurt the Rams to see Robinson walk, though it's in the best interest of all parties for him to find a new home.
