The Chargers are preparing for a Sunday Night Football Week 14 showdown with the AFC West-leading Chiefs, and we now know who will sing the national anthem as well as what pre-game festivies are planned.

This game is in Kansas City at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, so the Chiefs are in charge of pre-game. Long-time Chargers rival Tamba Hali will be inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame, supported by nearly 100 of his former teammates.

According to the Chiefs, Generald Wilson, a St. Louis native and retired United States Navy Petty Officer First Class and a well-known singer, will perform the national anthem.

National Anthem Singer for Chargers vs. Chiefs Revealed

Wilson has established a popularity across the country for being an excellent singer. There's no question the crowd in Kansas City will be lively after honoring Hali, so Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh will need to have his team ready.

Fans should have little doubt he'll succeed. Harbaugh has transformed the organization in his first year, turning Los Angeles from a punchline to a legitimate contender.

The Chiefs are still 3.5-point favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook and have won six straight in this series. That said, this represents the perfect opportunity for the Chargers to play spoiler and ruin the Chiefs' dream of securing the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Should Los Angeles win, they'll establish themselves in the conference with just a few weeks left in the regular season. With a strong running game, excellent defense and Justin Herbert protecting the football, this is certainly a roster that can make some noise in the postseason.

We'll see just how ready they are to make a run this Sunday night.
