The Los Angeles Chargers won't be playing postseason football this weekend. After going 11-6 in the regular season, Los Angeles made the Wild Card Round.

In the first season of the Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz era, the Chargers have changed the culture. Even though they clinched a postseason spot, Los Angeles was dominated 32-12 in the Wild Card by the Houston Texans.

There will be some changes along the roster as the Chargers look to raise the floor in 2025. Free agency, trades, and the NFL Draft are multiple avenues Los Angeles will use this offseason.

One player who may be at risk of being moved this offseason could be EDGE Joey Bosa.

Bosa was the third overall pick by the Chargers in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Ohio State product developed into one of the most productive pass rushers in team history. Bosa is second in Chargers history with 72 sacks, including four seasons with double-digit sacks. Unfortunately, his last double-digit sack campaign came in 2021.

During the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Bosa missed time with foot and groin injuries. When players get older, they don't get healthier. Although he suited up in 14 games this season, he had 22 total tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles. He finished with a 63.9 overall grade (89th among 211 eligible defenders) and a 64.1 pass-rush grade (86th among 211 eligible defenders).

More importantly, Bosa is on the books for $36 million for the 2025 season. Before the start of the 2024 season, he took a pay cut from $22 million to $15 million. The odds aren't high that he'll be looking to do that.

He has one year left on his current deal and could walk in free agency after next season. The Chargers would be wise to gauge Bosa's trade value to get a potential return instead of potentially letting him walk for nothing after next season.

His numbers have taken a dip recently, and Los Angeles should look into moving off one of the best EDGE rushers in team history.
