The Los Angeles Rams' offseason is in full swing, with some massive decisions to make. The two biggest items on the agenda are finding a solution to the Matthew Stafford saga and trading Cooper Kupp to a new destination.
Last week, Kupp made the unexpected announcement that the Rams were actively shopping him on the trade market. The veteran wide receiver took Rams fans by surprise when he revealed that the team was looking to trade him despite his desire to finish his career in Los Angeles.
Kupp's player-friendly contract and age-related decline concerns make him a potentially tough player to trade. Therefore, how much interest he will have on the trade market remains to be seen, but a new coaching development may have just increased the odds of a Kupp trade.
The Dallas Cowboys just announced the hiring of Junior Adams as their wide receivers coach. Not only was Adams the wide receiver coach in Eastern Washington for two years when Kupp was there, but the star receiver also admitted that no coach in his life had as big of an impact on him as Adams, as reported by Cowboys insider Joseph Hoyt.

Cowboys Are Now the Perfect Cooper Kupp Landing Spot
This opens up an intriguing possibility for a trade between the Rams and the Cowboys. Dallas already needed a WR2 to pair with CeeDee Lamb, and Kupp is one of the better options on the market. They were already considered a potential landing spot for Kupp, and his favorite coach being in Dallas should only heat up the rumors.
With Deebo Samuel and Cooper Kupp officially on the trade block and Tee Higgins and Chris Godwin hitting free agency, the wide receiver market will be a big one to watch in the offseason. That said, who the Cowboys end up acquiring, and how the Rams will replace Kupp remains to be seen.
