The NFL season is nine weeks in, and the Los Angeles Rams sit with a 4-4 record. The Rams started getting healthier and began playing better football. They have reeled off three straight games, including a thrilling 26-20 win against the Seattle Seahawks in overtime last week.

They have a battle against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football in Week 10. While they are getting ready for this contest, other teams around the league are making moves along their staffs.

The Las Vegas Raiders fired three members of their offensive coaching staff after a 2-7 start. On Tuesday morning, the Raiders looked to make some tweaks and added a former Rams coach.

NFL News: Norv Turner Added to Raiders Offensive Staff

Per Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are bringing in Norv Turner as an assistant to help this struggling offense. Turner was a wide receiver coach for the Rams from 1985-1990.

Las Vegas' offense has been one of the worst units in the league. They are ranked 29th in total offense (280.2), 19th in passing offense (203.3), 32nd in rushing offense (76.9), and 26th in scoring offense (18.7).

Turner hasn't been in the NFL since 2019 when he was with the Carolina Panthers as an offensive coordinator and special assistant to the head coach.

Turner's resume is stout, as he won two Super Bowls as the offensive coordinator with the Dallas Cowboys from 1991-1993. He also had stops with the Chargers, Dolphins, 49ers, Browns, and Vikings as a coordinator.

Even though he won't be calling plays for the Raiders, he will be involved in other ways with that offense.
