The Los Angeles Chargers had a huge win at home against the Saints in Week 8 to improve to 4-3 for the season. Their defense continues to be impressive as they still haven't given up more than 20 points to any opponent this season.

New head coach Jim Harbaugh has obviously played a huge part in creating that defensive identity. The Chargers will be a tough out all season as long as they maintain that defensive intensity.

Yet, it hasn't been all smooth sailing for Harbaugh this year. In fact, he had a major health scare earlier in the season. In Week 6 against the Denver Broncos, Harbaugh suffered an episode of atrial flutter, forcing him to seek medical help. This was the third time he had suffered an arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat since 1999. '

On Monday, Chargers insider Daniel Popper reported that Harbaugh got the heart monitor he has been wearing for the past two weeks removed. The 60-year-old head coach added that the doctors are going to evaluate and decide what the next step is.

That next step could include an ablation procedure. He has previously undergone it both times he had atrial flutter. After the medical scare, Harbaugh had said that he had no intention of stopping coaching.

The Chargers have a very favorable schedule in the next three weeks, playing the Browns, Titans, and the Bengals. They have an excellent chance to get to 7-3 for the season and we hope to have Harbaugh on the sidelines while they attempt to do so.
