The Los Angeles Rams might have just lost one of the most important members of their franchise. Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp officially requested a trade with a shocking social media post,

Not much can be done to correct this action. Kupp is almost certainly looking at a new team in 2025, declaring as much on X (formerly known as Twitter). It's a stunning moment, but general manager Les Snead has one obvious trade partner with whom he needs to engage.

If the organization is moving on from Kupp, the Buffalo Bills are an obvious trade partner that Los Angeles needs to speak with.

Rams Gifted Perfect Cooper Kupp Trade Opportunity

Trading someone like Kupp is never easy, nor should it be. He's one of the most impactful players in the history of the franchise and needs to be celebrated, though Snead has shown his only loyalty is to ownership.

Originally a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Kupp has become one of Los Angeles' most important atheltes. It's hard to overstate how massive this news is.

Assuming the Rams send Kupp to a competitive team, the Bills are the clear fit. They acquired Amari Cooper midseason but he failed to make a significant impact. Buffalo needs someone like Kupp and if he could stay healthy, he could be the singular addition that pushes the organization over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Regardless, Snead and his group should have their fair share of suitors. Kupp is one of the most accomplished players of this era. At the very least, the Bills would likely be willing to part with a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The difficulty grows when trying to manage trade compensation now that Kupp's post is public. Los Angeles has no true leverage, and it's obvious that they intend to trade the All-Pro wideout.

Hopefully, the front office doesn't fumble such an important opportunity.
