NBA legend LeBron James has faced more than his fair share of criticism over the course of his professional career both before and after joining the Los Angeles Lakers but the most recent personal shot taken at him could very well be the most outrageous one of them all.
We all know there is no love lost between the Detroit Pistons franchise and the Purple and Gold but, for one reason or another, Isiah Thomas decided to make one of the strangest critiques of James that we've seen in quite some time prior to the Lakers' blowout victory over the Houston Rockets this past week.
As we have seen LeBron and many other players do in recent years, James conducted his pregame workout without a shirt on and, for one reason or another, this struck a chord with the Pistons legend and he shared his thoughts on the matter during an appearance on NBATV.
"I just totally 100% object to this," said Thomas, via Sports Illustrated. "If I was the GM or coach, I would never let one of my players walk out on the floor looking like this. I mean we are professional NBA league. We ain't summer league. We ain't at the YMCA."
Naturally, James caught wind of what Thomas said and proceeded to take the high road when addressing the matter on social media as LeBron went on to let Thomas know how little he thought of his comments in his own special way.

There are a few different ways to look at these comments from Thomas. First, we can quickly get out of the way just how crazy of a thing this is for him to take offense to. It's not like LeBron was going through the team's pregame layup lines without a uniform on.
Second, let's be honest with ourselves here, if we were in the type of physical shape that LeBron James is in when he is pushing 40 years old, we would probably be walking around without a shirt on as much as possible too, weather permitting.
Finally, the Lakers were victorious in a game they absolutely needed to have to secure the best playoff seeding possible and James played a key role in the win as he recorded 14 points, eight assists and four rebounds in just 22 minutes of action.
When you take all of those things into account, it just makes the claims from Thomas seem that much more ridiculous. More power to LeBron for not taking the bait by choosing not to dignify them with a response.
