The NFL offseason is set to kick into an extra gear in the coming weeks. The new league year and free agency will begin on March 12th at 1 p.m. PST.

The Los Angeles Chargers have $63 million in cap space per OvertheCap.com and are expected to be suitors for more playmakers offensively. While that is an expectation, they also have some tough decisions to make about players hitting the open market.

One guy is linebacker Khalil Mack and the latest report highlights he'll have a nice market as a free agent.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Mack is "going to have a robust market."

Khalil Mack Expected To Have Multiple Suitors in Free Agency

Mack has been with the Chargers for the past three seasons and has been a productive player. Over 50 games in Los Angeles, Mack has compiled 163 total tackles, 39 TFLs, 49 QB hits, and 31 sacks.

This season, the University at Buffalo product played in 16 games, logging 39 total tackles, six sacks, and 49 total pressures. According to PFF, he had a 90.4 overall grade (5th among 211 eligible edge defenders) and 88 run defense grade (2nd among 211 eligible edge defenders).

Even though he'll be 34 years old by the time the 2025 season rolls around, Mack still has some good football left. Last offseason, Mack took a pay cut from $23.25 million to $19 million.

With his best football days likely behind him, Mack would like to maximize his value this free agency. Whether that comes from Los Angeles remains to be seen, but there's a good chance that Mack played his last down in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles has Joey Bosa on the books for $36 million in 2025, so they'll have to figure something out with him before discussing any type of deal with Mack.
