10 Rams Entering Their Final Season With Los Angeles

With Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season set to kickoff this week, it's a good time to look ahead at a few players who could spend their last seasons in Los Angeles.

2. Ronnie Rivers

The 25-year-old running back is scheduled to be a restricted free agent at the end of the 2024 season after re-signing with the Rams on a one-year deal this offseason.

Rivers is slated to be Los Angeles’ RB3 behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. Rivers likely won’t get a ton of touches with Williams and Corum leading the backfield. However, if one of those guys were to get banged up, Rivers would likely assume the RB2 role.

Last season, the former Fresno State running back played well when called upon. Rivers had 129 rushing yards on 32 carries and averaged 4.0 yards per attempt. He also played a small part in the Rams’ passing game, recording five receptions (five targets) for 22 yards.

The 5-foot-9 running back made one start last season, which came in Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers. Rivers had a season’s best 52 rushing yards on 13 carries.

With the Rams picking up UDFA running back Cody Schrader off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers after the roster cutdown day, Rivers could likely be playing elsewhere in 2025.
