10 Rams Entering Their Final Season With Los Angeles

With Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season set to kickoff this week, it's a good time to look ahead at a few players who could spend their last seasons in Los Angeles.

5. Alaric Jackson

This is a huge year for the 26-year-old offensive lineman as he’s set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.

Jackson has been the Rams’ starting left tackle for the last two seasons after beating out Joe Noteboom for the job. The former Iowa offensive lineman took over Andrew Whitworth, who retired after the 2021 season

Jackson has started in 21 games over the last two years despite missing a portion of the 2022 season because of blood clots in his leg. The 6-foot-7 lineman held down the left side last year and re-signed with the Rams in the offseason on a one-year contract (RFA tender $4.89 million).

Nonetheless, if Jackson can play well this season, he could be in line for a huge extension with the Rams or a blockbuster deal in free agency. The former Iowa lineman will miss the first two games of the 2024 season because he violated the league’s personal conduct policy.

This isn’t ideal for Jackson, who was sidelined in training camp due to an ankle injury. But he will return at the right time as the Rams are set to play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3.
