10 Rams Entering Their Final Season With Los Angeles

With Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season set to kickoff this week, it's a good time to look ahead at a few players who could spend their last seasons in Los Angeles.

7. Christian Rozeboom

With the Rams shockingly deciding to trade Ernest Jones to the Titans, it puts a lot of pressure on Rozeboom and the rest of their linebackers to over-perform this season.

Rozeboom was re-signed by the Rams this offseason to a one-year, $1.4 million deal, which means he will become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

Last season, the 27-year-old linebacker exploded onto the scene for the Rams after being a special teams contributor in his first two years in the NFL. Rozeboom produced career-highs across the board with 79 combined tackles, four pass deflections, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and an interception in 17 games (five starts).

The former undrafted free agent wasn’t the greatest in pass coverage as he allowed a 79.6 completion percentage allowed on targets.

However, he only gave one receiving touchdown, so if you are the Rams, you will take the good with the bad. The Rams will hope for similar production from Rozeboom as they have to replace Jones’ stats from 2023.

Last season, Jones had 145 combined tackles, 14 tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, six pass deflections, and 4.5 sacks. Rozeboom can’t do it all, as Omar Speights will be called upon too to fill in the gaps.

But if Rozeboom plays well in 2024, the Rams could decide to keep him for another two seasons.
