The Los Angeles Chargers have been busy re-shaping their roster and establishing a new identity in the first offseason under Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz. That has meant seeing quite a few familiar faces head out the door in free agency.

Some former Chargers wasted no time in signing with new teams, but there are still a large number of Chargers free agents who remain unsigned.

That opens the door for some more reunions, and these players could find themselves back in L.A. for next season.

1. Will Clapp

Don't get me wrong — I have no interest in seeing the Chargers bring Will Clapp back as a starter. But that's what signing Bradley Bozeman was for.

With Corey Linsley likely retiring, however, the Chargers do still need a backup for Bozeman. And while Clapp isn't a starting-caliber center, he would make for a good depth piece.

Cap space is still at a premium for the Chargers, so they'll need a budget-friendly backup. This could mean signing a rookie or relying on Brenden Jaimes, but neither of those are great backup plans when you're a team that's hoping to contend.

Clapp may have disappointed last year, but you're not going to find many 20-start veterans available as cheaply as he likely will be. Clapp's experience of stepping into the starting lineup is valuable, and he also has some experience serving as a backup to both the left and right guard spots. That versatility is another big plus for a reserve lineman.
