2. Jonah Williams

Williams is another former Ram who will play in the NFC North this coming season as he signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

The 28-year-old defensive end will likely compete for the starting defensive end job after being the starter in Los Angeles last season.

The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman had his best season as a pro as he got the chance to play next to Aaron Donald and Kobie Turner, who were playmakers on the interior defensive line.

Williams had 49 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, and 2.5 sacks. He also played a career-high 53 percent of defensive snaps last season.

There’s a chance Williams doesn’t receive the same amount of snaps in Minnesota, who also signed Jonathan Greenard to a massive four-year, $76 million deal. Greenard will replace the void left by Danielle Hunter, while Williams will be competing for snaps against Jonathan Bullard and Jihad Ward.

Williams is taking the same route as Coleman Shelton in terms of betting on themselves. It will be interesting to see if the 28-year-old defensive end can perform better under a new defensive coordinator.
