2. J.K. Dobbins

The former second-round pick missed the entire season once again after tearing his Achilles in Week 1. After his rookie season in which he showed immense potential, scoring nine touchdowns and averaging six yards per carry, Dobbins has missed 42 games in the last three years. He continues to be a massive injury risk.

However, he should be healthy to start the 2024 season, and he has been extremely productive every time he has been on the field. He leads all running backs with 5.8 yards per attempt since entering the league. He has more touchdowns than career starts.

Considering the Chargers' limited resources, Dobbins could be the ideal running back option. He will likely have to settle for a one-year, incentive-based deal. He is presumably not going to re-sign with the Baltimore Ravens after they refused to give him a contract extension last offseason. A fresh start might be needed for Dobbins.

Fortunately for him, the Chargers can provide that. A new beginning to kickstart his star-crossed career could do wonders for Dobbins. He is worth a flyer.
