Tre’Davious White, Rams Cornerback
White was an exceptional cornerback for the first four years of his career (2017-20), but he’s no longer deserving of the hype.
It’s hard to fault him for it. White has really struggled to stay on the field lately – playing in just 21 total games over the past three seasons.
Two of his injuries – a torn ACL and a torn Achilles tendon – are absolutely brutal injuries for any cornerback to have.
Tre'Davious White is no doubt talented. A starter when healthy for almost every team.

But he's played 21 games in the last three years (10 games the last 2 combined). Despite the talent, that looks like a one-year "prove it" deal in the NFL.
He turned 29 in January, so hoping…
And the effects of those injuries are plain to see in his play on the field.
White has just 3 INTs and just 14 pass deflections over his past three seasons after eclipsing both of those numbers in a single season twice (2017 & 2019).
Now 29-years-old, he’s being asked to play a big role in the Rams secondary and that might be too much to ask.
