The Los Angeles Rams had a nice season in 2023. However, there were a few players who didn't live up to the expectations set for them.

3. Bobby Brown

It’s tough to put Brown in the overrated category, as he was a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and worked himself into a starting role in the Rams’ defense this season.

However, the 23-year-old defensive lineman got outplayed by rookie nose tackle Kobie Turner, who only started in four out of 17 games this season. Brown posted 31 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, and a quarterback hit in 13 starts.

Meanwhile, Turner burst onto the scene with a ridiculous rookie season, leading the Rams with nine sacks. The third-round pick also recorded 57 combined tackles, 16 quarterback hits, eight tackles for loss, and 20 quarterback pressures (third-most on the team).

One has to believe that Turner has surpassed Brown on the depth chart and should be starting next season alongside Aaron Donald. The good news for Brown is that he’s still 23 years old and has time to grow and improve.
