3 Rams Free Agents Who Could Still Re-Sign With Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Rams should bring back some of their own free agents who are still available on the market.

The Los Angeles Rams haven't made many major changes this offseason, and for good reason. This team has a nice blend of youth and veteran talent, which positions it to contend in 2024 while also not starting down a true "blow it up" type rebuild once Matthew Stafford is gone.

With an apparent focus on continuity, only four of the Rams' 13 free agents have signed elsewhere so far. There are still eight former Rams available in free agency.

These three could be back in L.A. by the time free agency wraps up.

1. Ahkello Witherspoon

Ahkello Witherspoon didn't live up to the hype with the Rams, but it's important not to let what our expectations were cloud how we perceive the way he played. Because he was still a fine corner option, especially when you account for the fact that he should be available on the cheap.

Pro Football Focus (PFF) gave Witherspoon a 64.3 overall grade for the season, and he only allowed a 76.7 passer rating when targeted in coverage.

For context, that passer rating ranked 25th among the 132 corners that PFF graded out with 200-plus coverage snaps.

The Rams are thin at corner, and even if they plan to draft a rookie, Witherspoon's veteran presences would help shore this unit up for 2024.
