3. Brycen Hopkins

Even after signing Colby Parksinson to serve as the TE2 alongside Tyler Higbee, the Rams could still use more help.

None of the other options on the roster (Hunter Long, Davis Allen, Nikola Kalinic, Miller Forristall) have proven anything at the NFL level. And even if you're not planning to run many three-tight end sets, you really do want to have at least three viable options over a long 17-game NFL season. Consider that Tyler Higbee will likely miss significant time next season after suffering a serious ACL injury, you have a serious need at the position.

Brycen Hopkins hasn't earned significant playing time to start his NFL career, playing just 330 offensive snaps over four seasons for the Rams. But when he does get on the field he's shown some promise.

The only time he played over 50% of the Rams' offensive snaps in a game, he had 3 receptions for 57 yards on 38 snaps played.

Hopkins isn't a great blocker, but his receiving chops would make him a very valuable TE3, and considering he's not received any free agency interest so far, he might even be available to move onto the practice squad if the Rams need to.
