2. John Wall, PG

Former five-time NBA All-Star John Wall recently appeared on "Podcast P with Paul George" to discuss his basketball future. After sitting out of the 2023-24 campaign, the ex-Kentucky Wildcat made it clear that he wants to make his way back to the Association and is willing to take any role that's given to him.

If he were still in his prime, Wall likely wouldn't see any shortage of suitors. He was one of the league's best point guards throughout his heyday and would constantly display highlight-reel plays every other night. He even finished seventh in NBA MVP voting in 2016-17 after averaging 23.1 points and 10.7 assists across 78 games with the Washington Wizards.

Unfortunately, knee injuries have limited Wall to just 147 games since the start of the 2017-18 season. He most recently suited up in 34 contests with the LA Clippers two seasons ago but his play was far from what it used to be, resulting in 11.4 PTS/5.2 AST/2.7 REB as he shot 40.8% from the floor and 30.3% from deep.

But even if Wall is a shell of his former self, he's still an option worth exploring. He's clearly motivated to play in the NBA and is still capable of being a sparkplug off the bench. He's still a decent defender and could pick up the slack when he's sharing the floor with Los Angeles' younger players.

Additionally, Wall is also a Klutch Sports Group client, meaning he's represented by agent Rich Paul, who also works LeBron and Bronny James, Anthony Davis, and Jarred Vanderbilt. With how often LeBron likes to have those connected to him in the mix, the Lakers potentially signing Wall should have some merit.
