4. Malcolm Brogdon

Brogdon is overpaid, making $22.5 million per year for this season and next. He is also 31 and can be injury-prone. However, he is still a very productive point guard.

As recently as last season, Brogdon won the 6th Man of the Year award and was a key contributor for the Boston Celtics who made the conference finals. He was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers last offseason when the Celtics acquired Jrue Holiday.

He has been a valuable veteran presence in Portland, averaging 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists while shooting an impressive 41.2% from three. He has been the steady hand for a young, inexperienced team.

However, he doesn't have a future with the Trail Blazers, who are rebuilding with the core of Anfernee Simons, Scoot Henderson, and Shaedon Sharpe. They are looking to trade him for draft compensation and future assets.

Due to age and injury concerns, Brogdon would be easier to acquire than the previous names on this list. But his ability to play both guard positions, and skill set to be both on-ball and off-ball would be very helpful for this Lakers team.

The Lakers are currently +1700 to win the Western Conference. If you think they can make a run after the trade deadline, head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and take advantage of their sign-up bonus of $200 when you make a winning bet of $5.
